Getting Ready for School

Tomorrow my son, Drew, starts PreK and I can't wait. My oldest daughter, Becky, started first grade on Aug. 30th full-day. Drew will only be in school for 2 1/2 hrs. That leaves just the little one, Jenny. We are also getting ready for a joint birthday party for Drew & Jenny (5 yr & 2 yr). They're birthdays are so close together that for now we are just going to celebrate them together.

In cleaning for the party I thought of a great product I wanted to share. It's called SnoBol and it is used to clean toilets. Just empty all the water out of the bowl and squirt some of the SnoBol around the bowl. Let it set for about 5-10 minutes. Then I just lightly swish with a toilet brush and flush. My bowl has never been whiter. We have well water and it turns almost everything yellow. Just thought I'd share what works for me.

Also, I've found a cheap substitution for Windex. I also use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to clean windows, mirrors, and some chrome. The rubbing alcohol makes it shine and disinfects it with no streaks.

Have a truly wonderful day! God Bless!
